Blog Post 2
I was hoping to show off a little bit of my artistic capabilities with these images, but I ended up doing them kinda late at night and rushing it, so they're not the best ever. Sorry about that!
For the first picture I was practicing on a digital drawing program, and I didn't have a lot of time, so I'm sorry its so crappy.
The second picture was drawn by hand, and also pretty rushed, but I hoped it could in instill a little more confidence in my abilities.

As far as two games I really enjoy, I have to go with Uncharted 2 and Ocarina of Time. I really enjoy the whole Uncharted series, for its great characters, beautiful settings, and gameplay that I really enjoy. I've always really loved stories like Indiana Jones, with ancient artifacts, long lost cities, etc. I've always been a huge nerd for ancient cultures, their, religions, their art and architecture, and all of these things are emphasized (and pretty well researched, as far as I can tell) in the series. I like the second game especially, though, mostly because its set mostly in the Himalayas and I always thought snowy mountains were gorgeous. I really enjoy the gameplay as well, of course!
Besides occasionally going to a friends house to play games like Mario Kart and Smash Bros., Ocarina of Time on the N64 was the first video game me and my sisters ever played. we all fell in love with it immediately for its gameplay, very imaginative puzzles and dungeons, and the charming world of the Zelda universe. Each of us must have played it through at least five times at this point. It was the game that really got us interested in video games and sort of set our expectations for all other games.
